Lungi

What is lungi? lungi is sarong from Indian subcontinent. A traditional skirt worn by people in Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand. Also other countries in South East Asia such as Malaysia and Indonesia. Usually made of cotton or rayon textile. Similar names includes Kaupinam, Langota, Sarong, Izaar, Kilt , Kanga and Shendyt. They are usually worn in hot regions. There are also other kind of lungis, in similar sizes but without sewn or tube shape. Lungi normally woven from cotton and come in a variety of designs and colors. The most popular styles are solid color.
